Joining the Affiliate Network

Is my site eligible to become a Barnes & Noble.com Affiliate?
Barnes & Noble.com wants to work with all sites, from large commercial sites to individual Web pages, and everything in between. Anyone may submit an application, and we review each and every potential Affiliate Web site before accepting it into the network. We do reserve the right to refuse a site if it contains objectionable material, including pornography, explicit language or content, or support for violent groups.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing! It's absolutely free to join the Barnes & Noble.com Affiliate Network. You are free to cancel at any time.
Why do I need a Google AdSense account to become a Barnes & Noble.com Affiliate?
You need to provide or create an AdSense account in order to receive affiliate payments via the AdSense payment mechanism. Please note that you are not required to run AdSense ads on your site.
I have an AdSense account. How do I become a Barnes & Noble.com Affiliate?
Within the Barnes & Noble.com Affiliate application, simple click "Yes, I have an AdSense account" and follow the instructions. You will need your Google AdSense ID and the email address associated with your AdSense account to complete the application.
What if my Web site is not completed yet, or is "under construction"?
If your Web site is not completed yet or "under construction," your application will not be accepted for review. Please apply for the Barnes & Noble.com Affiliate Program when your Web site has been fully completed.
I'm an author. Can my Web site be a Barnes & Noble.com Affiliate?
Yes! What better way to sell more copies of your book than by linking your site directly to a bookstore? Sign up online and you can start selling your book today! Or, if you prefer to fulfill orders for your own book, you may do so and link to Barnes & Noble.com for every other book in print.

Barnes & Noble.com offers data feeds for our affiliate partners within the Google Affiliate Network. To sign up, simply log into Google Affiliate Network and click the "Links" tab, then click "Product Feeds".

Reporting and Payment

Where can I view sales and earnings?
Google Affiliate Network's ConnectCommerce is a flexible and easy-to-use tracking and reporting platform that does not require any desktop or server installation. All reporting is secure and password protected. Once enrolled, you will receive your own login and password to access your reporting.
How much will I be paid?
Earn 6% on a wide variety of products from our catalog. See Program Terms for full details.
Do I earn commission on nook by Barnes & Noble?
At this time, we do not offer commission on the purchase of nook or related warranties. You DO, however, earn commission on the purchase of eBooks and nook Accessories.
When will I be paid?
Payments will be made through the Google AdSense payment system on a monthly basis, provided that you have earned at least $100.00 in network commissions.
