The prolific and bestselling author Elin Hilderbrand — one of the stars of the summer beach read, who more recently has begun writing holiday-themed novels as well — lives on Nantucket Island, where many of her books are set. She is a mother of three and a graduate of Johns Hopkins University. She was previously a teaching/writing fellow at the prestigious University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
