Overview

2020an Literaturako Nobel Saria Louise Glück-i (New York, 1943) eman ziotenean, Suediako Akademiak bereziki nabarmendu nahi izan zuen «haren ahots poetiko nahasezina, edertasun soil batez existentzia indibiduala unibertsal egiten duena». Horixe du bertute, idazkera argi eta soil baten alde egiten du urik sakonenetan barneratzeko ere. Egilearen hitzetan, «Hasieratik hiztegi sinpleena hobetsi nuen. Testuinguruaren aukerek liluratzen ninduten [], nola aska zezakeen poema batek, hitz baten kokapenari esker, erritmoaren eta kadentziaren sotiltasunaren bidez, hitz jakin horren esanahi-gama oso eta harrigarria». Garazi Ugalde itzultzaileak hitzaurrean dioenez, bereizgarri horretaz haratago, askotarikoa da Glücken ahots poetikoa: intimista baina unibertsala, kultua eta aldi berean noranahikoa, iluna bezain zorrotza, xehetasun zalea eta hala ere esan gabekoari lekua egiten dion horietakoa.
