Red Rising, Part 1 of 2 [Dramatized Adaptation]: Red Rising 1
New York Times bestseller! Pierce Brown’s relentlessly entertaining debut channels the excitement of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card.

“Red Rising ascends above a crowded dystopian field.”—USA Today

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

“I live for the dream that my children will be born free,” she says. “That they will be what they like. That they will own the land their father gave them.” “I live for you,” I say sadly. Eo kisses my cheek. “Then you must live for more.”

Darrow is a Red, a member of the lowest caste in the color-coded society of the future. Like his fellow Reds, he works all day, believing that he and his people are making the surface of Mars livable for future generations. Yet he toils willingly, trusting that his blood and sweat will one day result in a better world for his children.

But Darrow and his kind have been betrayed. Soon he discovers that humanity reached the surface generations ago. Vast cities and lush wilds spread across the planet. Darrow—and Reds like him—are nothing more than slaves to a decadent ruling class.

Inspired by a longing for justice, and driven by the memory of lost love, Darrow sacrifices everything to infiltrate the legendary Institute, a proving ground for the dominant Gold caste, where the next generation of humanity’s overlords struggle for power. He will be forced to compete for his life and the very future of civilization against the best and most brutal of Society’s ruling class. There, he will stop at nothing to bring down his enemies ... even if it means he has to become one of them to do so.

Performed by Stewart Crank, John Kielty, Richard Rohan, Stephanie Nemeth-Parker, Jenna Sharpe, Kay Eluvian, Jon Vertullo, Ian Russell, Alejandro Ruiz, Andrew Colford, Bradley Foster Smith, Christopher Williams, Chris Stinson, Christopher Walker, Colleen Delany, Elizabeth Jernigan, Eric Messner, Ian Putnam, James Konicek, Joe Mallon, Joel David Santner, Julie-Ann Elliott, Karen Novak, Ken Jackson, Lucy Symons, Marni Penning, Martin Dickinson, Matthew Bassett, Matthew Pauli, Matthew Schleigh, Michael Glenn, Michael John Casey, Nanette Savard, Nazia Chaudhry, Nora Achrati, Shanta Parasuraman, Stephone Walker, Dylan Lynch, Yasmin Tuazon, and Andy Clemence.

Richard Rohan is an experienced narrator, actor, and director who has recorded hundreds of audiobooks in every genre. In 2003, he received the Audie Award in nonfiction and, in 2008, was named the Best Voice in Science Fiction & Fantasy by AudioFile magazine.

With over eighty titles to his name, Stewart Crank has developed a reputation as a solid and reliable voice-over artist, consistently delivering quality audio to his clients. Originally from Lancashire in the North of England, his burgeoning audiobook career has seen him tackle a wide array of genres, from historical fantasy to noir and true crime and most recently a version of Ulysses by James Joyce, widely regarded as the most difficult English language book to read in the world. When not recording, Stewart spends his time rock climbing or slowly making his way through his ever-expanding list of unwatched classic films.

Alejandro Ruiz is a bilingual non-binary indigenous Mexican-American voice actor based in Los Angeles. Their voice can be heard on award-winning audiobooks, video games, Netflix and Cartoon Network animated series, podcasts for NPR and Wondery, commercials for Amazon, as the Spanish voice of the US Census, on National Geographic and Disney+, and as the voice of the U.S. Center for Disease Control's national HIV campaign in both English and Spanish.

Stephanie Németh-Parker is a SAG-AFTRA audiobook narrator, voiceover artist, and actress with over thirty years of experience. With a voice that has been described as warm and soothing, her versatility and adeptness with accents has enabled her to work on a multitude of projects.

Jon Vertullo is a voice-over and on-camera talent who has been performing on mic, stage, and screen since the age of ten. Jon's voice has been described as "friendly, trustworthy, and engaging, with a sprinkling of nerdy fun!" When he isn't performing, Jon enjoys spending time with his family and finding new and exciting restaurants to try.
