Such topics as Edge Detection, Diffusion Smoothing, and Wavelet Transform are considered. All of them are supplied with the examples and exercises for FlexPDE 5. The short introduction into this software is also provided. Учебное пособие посвящено методам обработки сигналов и изображений, основанным на решении дифференциальных уравнений в частных производных и других сопутствующих методов математической физики. Рассмотрены такие темы как выделение контуров, диффузионное сглаживание и вейвлет-преобразование. Все они сопровождаются примерами и упражнениями в FlexPDE 5. Кроме того, предлагается краткое введение в данное программное обеспечение.
