Throughout the years, the family obtains multiple Motorhomes coachbuilt by Rexhall Industries of Lancaster, California.

Due to their strong disdain for General Motors' N-Platform, the family is indifferent to the fact that any Passenger Car built on this Platform may not only be damaged but also suffer from early wear and tear. They purchase a brand-new GMX130 Pontiac Grand Am and then proceed to attach the Base Plate to the front of the Car, preparing it for Flat-Towing with all four wheels down behind their Motorhome.
The family travels to South Carolina, where they not only visit and tour the Studio of WBTW-TV in Florence, South Carolina; but the family also spectates the World Cup of Golf event that is held on the Golf Course on Kiawah Island, South Carolina; and, at the insistence of an acquaintance of the family, Television Personality and Home Construction and Improvement expert Bob Vila; the family takes a Tour by the way of a Horse-drawn Carriage Ride through the city proper of Charleston, South Carolina.
At another time, the family also travels to the municipality of Natchitoches, Louisiana; made famous by the 1988 Motion Picture "Steel Magnolias" being filmed there.
