Looking for a reading group in your area? Or a place to have your book club meetings? The solution may be as close as your local Barnes & Noble store.
Most Barnes & Noble stores have established book clubs - all of them open to the public. You can call the store directly, or take a look at our online store locator to find Barnes & Noble book groups near you.
If you'd like information about having your group's meeting in a Barnes & Noble store, contact that store's community relations manager. He or she will be able to tell you what groups currently meet there - and whether the store can accommodate additional groups. The community relations manager can help organize and promote your group through the store calendar. And the community relations manager, or another bookseller, may be able to help facilitate your discussions.
Finding Book Groups with Our Online Store Locator

Barnes & Noble book groups can be found using our online store locator, under "Events."
Type your ZIP code in the box at the bottom left corner of this page and click on the "Go" button to see a list of stores in your area. Click on the link for the store you're interested in. On the information page for the store, book club meetings are listed under the "Upcoming Events" heading. There may be additional book club meetings not shown on the first page; click on "Search for more events from this store" to see a complete list of upcoming book club meetings and other events (such as story hours or author appearances).
If you don't see a book group listed, you'll want to try another Barnes & Noble store - or call the store's community relations manager to inquire about setting up one.
Remember, all events are subject to change, so it's a good idea to call the store ahead of time to verify the timing of any event.
Good luck, and happy reading! |
