Dr. William F. Lee III is a university administrator, educator, composer, pianist, conductor, researcher, and teacher, a career spanning more than thirty-five years. Dr. Lee is co-founder and former president of the International Association of Jazz Educators, an organization whose sole focus is the perpetuation of jazz and jazz education. His more than 100 publications include biographies of Stan Kenton and Maynard Ferguson. He currently lives in the San Antonio, TX, area.
