What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

"The book is profusely illustrated with clear and well-defined maps, always important but sadly neglected in many military histories. This is an important history because it goes beyond a 'drum and trumpet' approach and concentrates on the triumph of individuals over geographic obstacles in the age of Canadian expansionism."
