About the Author

Mustansir Mir is a Professor of Philosophy, Religious Studies, and Islamic Studies at Youngstown State University, and is also the Director of the Center for Islamic Studies there. He has published many translations from Arabic, especially the work of major Sufi poets of South Asia.
