About the Author

Jeffrey Hahn has a Master’s degree in Entomology and is currently one of the Extension Entomologists for the University of Minnesota, where he’s been on staff since 1984. One of his special interests is urban insects, specifically insects in homes, gardens and landscapes. During his time at the University, he has conducted hundreds of programs for audiences ranging from landscape professionals to elementary school children. He’s also been featured in print, broadcast and online media on numerous occasions. Jeffrey lives in Minneapolis with his family and spends as much time as possible in the North Woods at the family cabin near Park Rapids, Minnesota.
