About the Author

Bruce Driver played 11 seasons for the New Jersey Devils, including the 1995 Stanley Cup championship team. He spent his last three NHL seasons playing for the New York Rangers. Clare Wharton is a longtime "hockey mom" and journalist.



Clare Wharton has been immersed in youth hockey for more than ten years. Beginning as a "hockey mom" and observer, she developed an active love of the game. Clare is an English tutor who holds both a B.A. and M.A. in English. She is a newspaper columnist, a writer for a New Jersey parenting magazine, and a freelance author of numerous articles.
