Bishop Leroy C.E. Newman has been pastor of The Friendly Church of the Apostolic Faith and General Overseer of Friendly Church Ministries International for 39 years and holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in sociology and a Master's and PhD in the sociology of religion. He is a graduate of Ely High School in Pompano Beach, Florida; Born to share croppers, Bishop Newman work of the farm with his grandparents, John and Rosa Lee; He is the older of 11brothers and sisters; he owes his ministry development to his Aunt Millie who introduced him to Christ. Bishop is married with 3 children of his own: Israel, Tramain, and Laroi; his wife, Mattie is an accomplished soloist who has 2 recordings of her own. In addition to ministry Bishop Newman is Vice President of Educational Services at Global Business Institute where he has served for 28 years.
