Joined together by the heart

They vowed to never part,

Stitched their hands together

With sharpened baby's bone

Strands from the girl's gown

Frayed hair from the boy's scalp.

They licked the blood that flowed from the holes

War paint and lipstick and crayons

Melted on translucent flesh,

Vowed it would make them one

Lip prints tattooed to skin and soul

Desperation adorned with hope

The Gemini fled this Cimmerian sphere.
