About the Author

Judith Dyan Dimaano is a graduate of BS Psychology from UP Diliman. She began her teaching career in PAREF Rosehill School in 2007. After earning her MA in Education Major in Guidance from UP Diliman in 2017, she developed the School Guidance Program and was pioneered as head of the school's Guidance Center. As a classroom teacher, she has over 12 years of teaching experience in basic education. At the onset of the K-12 curriculum, she taught Personal Development, Social Science and Research Writi ng to Grade 11 and 12 students. Prior to that, she taught Religion, Biology and General Science in the elementary and high school levels. Aside from teaching, she has also involved in various administrative tasks as Coordinator for Personal Formation, collaborating closely with the faculty, parents and school administration in running the school's mentoring program. Currently, she is a school counselor at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Antipolo Campus. She is a volunteer youth mentor and outreach coordinator, organizing various leadership and community engagement activities for the Kalinangan Youth Foundation, Inc. (KALFI).
