Evie Owens was born in Japan (she's half Japanese), but grew up on a dairy farm in Upper Michigan. She's waited tables and tended bar, which makes her a very good tipper, but writing is her passion. She's written historical romance, contemporary romance, contemporary paranormal romance, young adult paranormal romance, and numerous short stories--some of them, also, paranormal (in case you're looking for a theme)--but she always always writes the stories she would want to read.
