About the Author

Jack Clifford graduated from Western Michigan University's where he started the first student radio station in 1951. In 1957 he became the first sports anchorman KTVK-TV in Phoenix. We would then move to the business side of television to become President of KTAR-TV, also in Phoenix. He would later work his way up the cable television ranks to become the president of multiple media companies before founding Northwest Cable News. In 1993 he launched The Food Network distributed to 200,000 homes. Today the Food Network is in 90,000,000 homes worldwide.
