The Song of Arthur chronicles the hitherto uncharted territory of King Arthur's last days in Avalon after the Battle of Camlan. Arthur struggles to come to grips with his own demise as his nephew, Perceval, finds himself almost reluctantly becoming king. The Anglo-Saxon hordes are already poised to recover the lands from which they were driven, yet the story is profoundly hopeful. In the end, both uncle and nephew attain a large measure of peace.
