Objection 211d. Nevins had not shown that 0 any reduction would have taken place if the Acts had not been in force. A nd although Primary Venereal Sores did diminish. From 1860 to 1866,f1°om that period in all those stations not under the A cts they increased. We may naturally assume that tf the disease had increased in such a large number of S tations it would have done so in the other fourteen, provided they had not had the Act applied to them.
