Sydney J. Besthoff III, past president and owner of K&B Drug Stores and grandson of Sydney J. Besthoff (founder with Gustave Katz of Katz & Besthoff Drug Store), is a meticulous keeper of records. John S. Epstein grew up in the suburbs of New Orleans and, like so many others, loved Katz & Besthoff Drug Stores. He wants future generations to be able to experience, through these photographs, what K&B meant to all of its loyal customers.
