Mr. Payne lives behind the Redwood curtain in California with his wife Nicole of 19 years and his two children ages 17 and 4. This is the first book written and illustrated by Mr. Payne. When his daughter was young she asked questions about the Easter bunny. The story that he told her became the basis for the story of the book 'NO BUNNIES ALLOWED!!! A tale of a bunny, a hen and her eggs'. After rejections from failing publishing houses this lead him to the resolve to illustrate the book himself.
