About the Author

Linda Harden-Lantz currently resides in Greeneville, TN. She was employed for 25 years in the publishing end of a large telecommunications company before retiring in 1998.

Genealogy being her passion, she began her genealogical research in 1991 and has traveled extensively to do so. She has a penchant for investigative work and attempts to leave no stone unturned. Her book reveals several real pioneer families who struggled and overcame many hardships.

Having a love for history as well as genealogy the author has included many historical documents that include a will from 1708, enumeration sheets from 1803, copies of deeds from 1819, and many very old photos of family photographs as far back as the 1860's.
