About the Author

Doctor Marion Somers has spent the last thirty years as an elder care specialist, dispensing strategies and advice to make life easier for both caregivers and aging loved ones. A nationally recognized geriatric care manager, consultant, professor, and panelist, Doctor Somers owns and operates a private geriatric care management practice in New York City. Doctor Somers is also trained as a New York State Nursing Home Administrator and was the Director of the professional geriatric care management certificate program at Hunter College’s Brookdale Center on Aging.
