Divorce is not an option, the statement echoed around the world via talk shows Oprah Winfrey & Ellen Degeneres, when actor Will Smith said it in regards to his 10+ years Hollywood marriage to actor Jada Pinkett-Smith.

Divorce is NOT an Option is grammatically a good read. Each paragraph flows very eloquently in a very non-judgmental tone. It doesn't matter if your recently engaged, or into your 1st, 7th, or 15th year of marriage, this book will provide insight on how to effectively manage all the necessary areas where most of our marriages have ended up at one point of another during its course (and trust me...we've all been here) such as Communication, Honesty, and For Better or Worse.

Because there are so many options when things seemingly go wrong, or pretty much not the way we intended, it's human nature and society's quick fix, instant gratitude attitude as to why people are so quick to bail on each each other. And I think a huge part of a successful marriage is to remove the negative option of divorce and figure out how to make it work. After all, you loved each other once.

The first half of Divorce is NOT an Option outlines the realities of marriage in regards to both the ugly, unpleasant sides and blissful sides. It focuses on several universal statistics breaking them down by country, and more specifically the US and it's cities. It discusses the cost of divorce, both dollar & emotional amounts in regards to families and children and how divorce, no matter how hard you try will never be a painless process.

The second half focuses on the ceremony, vows and basic needs for happiness. Marriage, Family & Instincts are discussed in addition to the concepts of friendship in marriage and why saving your marriage is the best option and be the ONLY option.
