We are excited to introduce you to one of many new/old incredibly illustrated horror comics from the Golden Age of the genre. It's fitting that we publish "Adventures Into Darkness" No. 6.

This vintage, terror masterpiece is not only built on a foundation of good stories, good plots, great characters and horrific creatures, it is also a beautiful work of retro art.

Here's some background on its creation and its creator:

Adventures Into Darkness is a Golden Age comics series that ran for just 10 issues from August 1952-1954. The series was published by Nedor Comics.

Nedor Comics was the comic book line of publisher Ned Pines, who also published pulp magazines under a variety of company names (primarily Standard, Better and Thrilling) that he also used for the comics. In business from 1939 to 1956, Nedor was a prolific publisher during the Golden Age of comic books.

This 36-page work includes the following illustrated horror gems:

1. The Groping Ghost
2. Mystery of Mu
3. Corpse Convention (Zombie lovers -- this is great!)
4. The Thing from the Sea
5. The Strange Cats
6. The Phantom Horseman
