Overview

Shedding Past Lives is a collection of poems and prose designed to make you uncomfortable sometimes and at home others. Outgrowing yourself is never easy and it will hurt. This is not a happy book, it is a necessary one. One that will make you cry, hurt, love, learn, let go, heal, and most importantly FEEL. With stories about love, heartbreak, trauma, neglect, abuse, addiction, and suicide this book forces its readers to not only face their demons but learn to walk with them. It's composed for the reader to get to know themselves, remember who they have been, and accept who they are. Bringing about emotional maturity, it is a gentle reminder that everything we go through is important but how we choose to grow through it, that's what defines us.
