About the Author

Richard A. Johnson has served as curator of the Sports Museum in Boston since 1982 and is the author or coauthor of 17 books, including The Boston Bruins and The Celtics in Black and White. Robert Hamilton Johnson, an avid runner and outdoorsman, is a student at Middlebury College.
