This is a story of international political pressure working its way down to change the lives of three Air Force personnel and their being charged with premeditated murder of an oriental man in war torn Korea of 1953. The author was very young Air Force JAG officer charged with the defense of another young Air Force officer, on trial for his life.It is a true story that reads like a novel. It ultimately involved the President of the United States and other powerful Senators and military officials including the Secretary of the Air Force and the Chief of Staff of the Air Force and the United States Suprreme Court.

About the Author

Robert . Shaines is a practicing attorney in Portsmouth, NH. He has had this story on his mind for all of the many years after it unfolded. he lives in Rye, NH with his wife Denise and their two Bichons.
While no stranger to writing this is the author's first published book. It has received many excellent reviews and has won a national award for History.
Bob Shaines is in the process of writing his second book,which will be a fictional account of issues involving the former Soviet Union, where Bob worked as a contractor to the Defense Nuclear Agency on the Cooperative Threat Reduction Treaty in the early 1990's.
