Meet the Writers
Diane Setterfield became a bestselling literary sensation with the publication of The Thirteenth Tale -- a fascinating novel of gothic intrigue. In our interview, Setterfield describes how her lifelong love of books has informed her writing. "I found that the act of writing seemed to stir up in me all of the old reading that I'd done -- as a child, as a teenager, as a young woman -- and those books found their way from my reading mind into my writing mind, and I was very glad to have them there," she explains. "So, my book is very much a book about the love of reading."
