Meet the Writers
Educated at Harvard and Berklee School of Music, Arthur Phillips had gigs as a child actor, jazz musician, and advertising exec before turning to pen novels including Prague, The Egyptologist, and Angelica. He actually didn't decide to become a writer until he was 28. "I'd stumbled into some professional writing jobs -- speeches, PR, advertising, sales and marketing crud," he explains. "And I realized I could write every day -- I was writing for money every day -- I could try to write something more."
