Back in print for the first time in years—and available in eBook for the first time—the New York Times bestselling tie-in to the hit television show and cult classic, Twin Peaks.
Laura Palmer was introduced to television audiences in the opening scenes of "Twin Peaks"as a beautiful dead girl, wrapped in plastic. Now available in print for the first time in many years (and in e-book for the very first time!), THE SECRET DIARY OF LAURA PALMER chronicles Laura's life from age 12 to her death at 17, and is filled with secrets, character references, and even clues to the identity of her eventual killer. Fans of the show will love seeing their favorite characters again, and Laura's diary makes compelling reading as she turns from a naive freshman having her first kiss to a "bad girl" experimenting with drugs, sex and the occult.
"As seen by" Jennifer Lynch, creator David Lynch's daughter, THE SECRET DIARY OF LAURA PALMER is authentic, creepy, and a perfect book for anyone who loves supernatural suspense.

Got say that this was weird, the show is weird, the characters are weird. And yet you can't help but want to keep reading.
Cant wait to buy it. Just read the sample. Re watching the series on netflix.
I actually read this book when I was 12. It's a very disturbing and emotional story about a young to teenage girl that was sexually abused and a victim of incest by her father and the mental and emotional damage that caused. This book is written in first person/Diary form. It is also a sort of spin-off of the Twin Peaks movies where Laura Palmer is found murdered and a few weeks later her Diary (This book) is found. Although I was about 12 when I read this, I would recommend you, as a parent, read this and decide for yourself if your teen is mature enough to handle this type of emotional story.
I read this book when I was thirteen years old and it was deeply diturbing , yet I could not put it down I read it in two hours. This book is one you will never forget, it stays with you even years after you have read it .
This book/diary was disturbing as the show Twin Peaks and especially Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. It tells of Laura's thoughts and feelings where you can tell she was an unhappy person through out her life. Sad but dumb.
This book was one of the best books I've ever read. It touches me in a way no other book has. My friend let me borrow hers and I really want to get my own but its been hard. I recomend this book to someone who likes to get alittle sad at times in someone else's story.
I thought this book was the best book i've ever read...i let people borrow this book and already 32 people have read my copy of the book this year alone...it has to be good
