I had a very negative experience with Smartbox Adventure company. I found out post purchase that they closed their relationship with vendors in my region. When I contact SmartBox to let them know that they no longer offer any adventures in my area, they told me to pound sand. Nothing we can do. So I was left with an expensive gift card that wasn't worth its own weight in plastic. VERY disappointed. Worst customer service every. They didn't listen to my concerns and they could care less that they scammed me out of money. Good luck if your adventure goes wrong. SmartBox could care less.

Hi - I am writing to say that I had an amazing experience with Smartbox. We purchased a Zagat box and had an issue with a local restaurant where the employee did not understand how to accept the card to pay for the dinner.
We called Smartbox and they followed up immediately with a full refund and a free Gourmet Retreat box and apologized for any inconvenience..
I plan on buying an adventure box for my dad this Christmas and feel secure with Smartbox's follow up and customer service!
