The day after my Nook arrived, I drove to the nearest B&N store that carried Nook accessories to try to find a cover. I was quite pleased with the feel of this cover - looking at the product online, I worried that it would not be durable, or would wear or get dirty easily. In reality, it's quite durable and well made. I love the design - it's whimsical and it makes me smile every time I pick it up. It feels like I'm holding a real book, with thousands of e-Books inside! Very appropriate for the Alice theme, I think. My only tiny, minor complaint is that the warm, rich paper color of the outside of the cover, and the sueded brown interior, clash a little with the cool blue-white tone of the Nook. But of course, this minor cosmetic detail disappears while absorbed in the pages of a good book. :)

I purchased the Alice Cover in Paper from the Barnes & Noble website on May 17,2010 shortly after purchasing my Nook. I have greatly enjoyed the cover since I purchased it, both for its appearance & for its sturdiness in protecting my Nook from daily use. In fact,the exterior of the cover has remained beautiful & surprisingly stain-free. In the past month,however, I have noticed my cover separating at the points where the elastic bands that secure the top of my Nook are attached to the cover. Although the elastic is sewn to the inner layer of the cover, the inner layer is attached to the outer layer only by adhesive, which has loosened at the sites of the elastic. Since I very rarely transport my Nook outside of my home, I am very disappointed that the cover has broken down so quickly. I'm not certain if this is only a problem with this particular cover or if covers with similar securement systems also experience this problem with time. But I believe that I will be looking at covers with different securement methods to replace it.

If you're an Alice fan, this cover choice is a no-brainer. It's one of the least expensive, but most eye-catching, of all available nook covers. It really does look like a printed book page, but is heavily-coated so it won't get dirty or simply wipe clean if it does. The pocket is very convenient and the cover does fold back easily if desired. I don't miss elastic or snaps to hold it closed, as the cover lays flat on its own. I'm also enjoying the fact that this cover doesn't seem to have made its way into many B&N stores yet, so I get nook cover envy from other nook owners.

I ordered this cover and was a little unsure if I would like it. The picture and description doesn't do it justice. It is a beautiful cover, and much stronger than I expected. I highly recommend it to everyone.

When I pre-ordered my nook, I looked at all of the cases very carefully in hopes of selecting the perfect one ... I eventually chose this one and am so glad that I did! It holds the nook securely and is easy to hold while reading -- it's lightweight, and you can hold it like a book or flip the front around behind the nook, too. The cover lies flat on top of the nook when it's closed, and it's lined with a smooth fabric that won't scratch the nook's screen. As another reviewer mentioned, the cover is also "whimsical" (the perfect word for it) and not as plain as the solid-colored covers. The material feels like a painter's canvas and is reinforced so that it seems very durable. As other reviewers have said, it does not have a way to close it around the nook, but that hasn't been a problem for me so far. I absolutely love this cover, and so will you!

I have been eyeing the nook and its covers for a few weeks so when I was surprised with a nook for my birthday today, I picked up the Alice cover without skipping a beat! I love that it folds back so well and it's nice having the extra "heft" in my hand. I still haven't gotten used to holding such a skinny book!

I saw the new Alice movie before I got my Nook and became obsessed with this great story from my childhood. I then got my Nook for Mother's Day and of course put "Alice in Wonderland" on it, and got the Alice screensavers. Yesterday, I got the Alice cover and I am SO happy with it. It is beautiful and fits my Nook perfect. Now when I read my Nook I open it like I am about to take another adventure into "Alice in Wonderland"...LOVE this cover! :)

I Didn't have the money or the patience at the time to get the one I wanted online. At that point there still weren't that many to chose from in the store, but this one was the cutest out of the cheap ones. I got it and was really surprised how great it is. The elastic holds the nook just fine, there's been no tearing or stretching out of it. The hard cover makes the nook easier to hold like a book to read it. It's light and has held together without any damage what so ever even after being dragged to school, work, and on a cross country trip. All in all, I have to say that 5 months later I'm still really happy with this product.

I've had my Nook for about 6-7 weeks now. I knew I would need a cover for it and was worried about one of the comments that this didn't stay closed. I ride a bus to and from work and haven't had any problems with this cover. It's perfectly fine in my purse when not in use and stays open when reading while I'm eating! People have commented on the "Alice In Wonderland" page cover - looks like a page out of the book! I thought it would get dirty (either from my sweaty fingers or my purse) but it looks just like new so far! In fact I almost wish it would look worn so it looked like I used it a lot! I share it with my daughter so it gets used twice as much! It is easy to open (just flips open) but is still protected when not in use.

I love seeing this cover when I grab my nook. Not only does it protect my nook, it looks beautiful while doing it. When I show it off to people (how can I not), they also give compliments on how beautiful it is and how much it looks like a real book. And to add to it's appealing look is the reasonable price. The outside cover is thick and very protective. The inside is a soft suede like material and has a place to store small pieces of paper. I was hesitant about the color of the cover because I thought it would get dirty easily. However, I haven't had any issues there. I would recommend this cover to anyone who wants to protect their nook while keeping its stylish characteristics.

This case is great! The outside is durable and I love that is looks like a page out of one of my favorite books. The inside is very nice too, there is a pocket, and the feel of it is very good.I would highly recommend this case to everyone!

I really didn't think I was going to need a cover for the Nook until it arrived. You really do need a cover to protect the screen from getting scratched especially if you put it in your pocketbook.
I also like the fact that you don't have to keep taking the cover on and off to charge it.
The Alice cover has a nice look to it with the writing on the front cover. When you run your hand over the cover it feels like a real book.

I love this cover. It is really cute and is very sturdy. I got the cover with my nook for Christmas of 2009. It has been great. I throw it in my purse when I go out and it protects the nook. Great cover for a great price!

I have this 'Alice' cover and the green Tuper cover. I bought the Alice one because I had received an email stating the Tupper cover would not be available until 6/1/10. Well, I wanted a cover so I decided to get this one to tide me over til the green one came. Then, surprise, they were both delivered the same week!!! I love both of them but the 'Alice' cover seems sturdier than the 'Tupper' cover. It also stays cleaner than the green one although it does wipe off nicely. The main pieces of the 'Alice' cover (front & back) seem thicker and therefore are sturdier and easier to hold. Although I love the 'Tupper' cover also, it shifts more than the 'Alice' I love them both and switch often for variety.

The coated canvas on the outside makes it much sturdier than some of the others, the faux leather covers, for example. The Nook is secure and the cover bends backwards easily when you read, yet retains its shape when closed again. I like the darker brown color of the faux suede inside...it should guard against evidence of use better than the lighter taupe colors do. I recommend this cover!!

It is one of the best presents anyone has ever bought me. Two weeks after my Birthday we had a vacation planned. I knew I wanted to bring my "new toy" but didn't want it damaged. So, I ordered a cover. That cover went on backorder and then was cancelled. I scrambled to order a cover that was available. The Alice cover would do. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. The picture does not do it justice. The inside lining is wonderfully soft and the pocket comes in very handy. Best of all, the density of the cover assures me that my Nook is protected even if something gets placed on top of it. The price was reasonable as well!! I would definately recommend this cover!!!

I knew right away I'd want a cover for my nook, but didn't get around to ordering it before the nook arrived. When looking at the online choices, I loved the Kate Spade cover with the drawing on the cover, but when I saw this cover, with Alice in Wonderland, I knew I'd just have to have it! I read the reviews about the color of the cover and worry about smudges, etc. But I also read something that said it was protected. It is! It has a nice feel to it. My nook fits perfectly and it really does make it feel more like reading a "real" book! I've carried it around with me since I got the cover, just love it!

The inside feels nice and has a pocket on the left to hold notes and other such things. The nook fits into it well and it makes it more like you are reading a real book rather than a book in digital format. The only real compliant (which is more of a personal preference) is that the page they used out of 'Alice in Wonderland' does not end on a complete sentence.

It is well made, but not the best design. It feels rather bulky, and there is nothing to keep the cover held closed when not in use. I was concerned that when I carried it in my purse it would shift around and open enough to allow something else to damage my nook. I returned mine in favor of a zip closure sleeve.

My cover just arrived and it is very nice! I don't have my nook yet (they haven't started shipping as of the writing of this post), but the store pamphlet fits inside perfectly. :) It is more of a cream color than a stark white, and it goes nicely with the brown lettering and sueded interior. It folds back nicely for what I imagine will be easy, one-hand reading. The stitching is also very nice with no loose threads. It is a sturdy case that will protect a nook well, and the painted canvas will clean easily. I put it on a shelf and it blended in nicely with my other books. I am satisfied with my purchase, and can't wait for my nook to arrive so I can really use it!
