I used this journal for roughly 5 months and loved every minute of it. The leather makes it smell very friendly and its chunky size makes it beg to be written in. I'd recommend it more to people who do a lot of writing (say, at least a page or more per day) because of the large size. There is a fleur de lis that is in the middle of the last 3 lines of every page, but it's printed lightly and easily written over. The lines are not very far apart, but if you have somewhat large handwriting you will still probably have some room. Also, the pages are not very easily bled through. Overall, if you like journaling, do yourself a favor and buy it.

Best Journal Ever

My colleagues gave me this journal as goodbye present. It is one of the best gifts I've ever received. I will be traveling in Europe this summer and plan to bring this magnificent journal along for the adventure.

This is a beautiful journal

I am giving this to my sister who is a novice writer so she can produce her first travel book. The journal is very luxurious and looks like a book, not a journal. It'll be a neat present for a budding writer I think

Perfect

This is the perfect journal for anyone who wants to write a LOT about whatever. At first, the number of pages seemed daunting to me, but I bought it anyway and filled it up in about 7 months. If you're an aspiring bestselling author and just someone like me who likes to write about whatever, buy it NOW!! The leather is really soft and the cover design is really cool. Plus, the pages are not easily bled through. It's a little on the bulky side if you want to take it places, but not bad. (It also makes an excellent gift for family members and good friends.)

Highly Recommended

This journal is SO very nice. I am a novice writer (I am only 15) and love to write down just about everything. This journal has inspired me greatly, and has a wonderful feel to it. The leather is very soft and it fits in to your hand like your old favorite book. I recommend this journal to anyone who is wanting something new but with a feeling of history backing it up.

Incredible Journal, Incredible Price

The quality of the journal is outstanding, thick pages, beautiful lines and red ribbon page keeper. The outside is smooth authentic leather with an incredible print. I have had this for nearly a year now and have written numerous entries with virtually no visible wear, truly an incredible piece for the price. Usually journal's this good cost $60

Beautiful

This is a beautifully crafted map-cover journal. I have thought about getting it for myself many, many times, but haven't yet. It is so elegant- just perfect for anyone who writes or keeps journals.

Absolutely and exactly what I wanted!

This journal feels very sturdy in hands, pages feel thick enough and the leather, bookmark and pages just look beautiful because of the colors and textures. I bought this in order to serve as a travel journal for my trip to Asia like the UAE, China and India and so on. The journal with it's thickness just begs to be written in. THIS OVER EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS BY FAR!!! ITS IS ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFUL!!! BUY IT!!! It is was really worth it.

Gorgeous Journal

I gave this to a good friend as a gift, and she told me it was the best gift she's been given. She adores it, and appreciates it very much. The leather is amazing at the touch, and their style is ideal for anyone who appreciates the world, and views themselves as a traveler.

Amazing Journal

This journal is truly amazing. It looks epic in nature from the soft leather antique map and it will make you want to go out and travel the world just to write in it. And don't let the site image fool you - this journal is large. At 192 sheets (384 pages) this could last you months. The paper is failry thick as well and most types of pens should work on it without going through to the otherside.
So if you're looking for a journal that not only looks epic but content is as well, then get this one

I love to study history, and this journal defenitely goes along with that theme. I would recommend this journal to anybody ready to write!

Outstanding Journal

I bought this journal for myself a month ago. It contains high quality paper and the cover is beautiful. It is thick, so I would recommend this to anyone who writes often or likes to write a lot. You will not be disappointed.
