I had to use the bookends for an interiors project, so did not return items. Although packed in foam boxes, manes on lions were severely chipped and look terrible. B&N should refund half my money. will pursue with them.

These bookends are perfect for larger books, including school texts. I may buy anoher pair, since I use them at home and in my classroom!

I was prompted to buy these bookends from an advertising e-mail I received from Barnes & Noble. The original shipment only included one of the pair. It took four phone calls (all of which involved conflicting information from the customer service person) and an e-mail to get the situation resolved. The pair of bookends are quite nice.

I love these bookends. They not only make any bookshelf look more appealing they are incredibly heavy so you don't have to worry about your bookends slipping. My only problem was that when they were shipped to me I only received one. But Barnes & Noble quickly sent me new ones. Great bookends.

These are particularly good for heavy reading as they themselves are very heavy. My table has mentioned several times how grateful it is for the felt on their undersides.
