I bought a 'refurbished' Nook Color and had problems with the connection from the Nook to the cable. Right from the start I had trouble getting it to connect and then eventually after 2 months it just quit syncing to my laptop altogether. I had purchased a warranty which meant they sent me a UPS label to return it and get my money back but with the cost of the warranty it wound up being the same as buying a new one.
Plus now I'm stuck with the cover and accessories I can't use unless I pony up for a brand new one. ;-<

I was hesitant about buying a pre-owned Nook Color...but when I got it I was thrilled. It was in a sealed box and looked brand new. I've had it about a month and have zero problems with it.

I bought one a few months ago and love it, works as good as a new model for much cheaper, about to buy my wife one for Christmas. They have a 1 year warranty, so why not get one this way?

I was torn between a Fire, Nook Tablet, Nook Color. The more I read the more confused.
Then I found the Referbs. After checking on the return policy I was sold.
I took the wrapping option when ordering. Best wraped present under the tree.
My wife with no computer skills was reading abook within minutes after the setup.
The set up took 15 minut3s.
I had to do a manual down load for current drivers.
Net Flix was up and running quality and soud was good.
No issues with Wi Fi.
Email easy to check and send.
Web Surfing quick.
Their does seem to be a problem with the unit leaving a web page and going to the previous page.
Still learning to navaigate, However kids take over and they do not seem to have any issues with Facebook or surfing
All in all could not asked for a better E-Reader.

Love my (pre-owned) Nook Color. I just updated the software from your site and now able to watch movies on my Netflix account! Great product and no problems!

I was following my little Chihuahua around the yard and set my nook and my wallet down. After gathering the dog, I drove off with my nook color and wallet on the hood of the car!
I didn't realize the bump in the road was my Nook hitting the ground. Someone found them and turned them in, but it was broken beyond repair. And of course I was too cheap at the time of purchase to buy the extended warranty. ALWAYS GET THE WARRANTY!
I miss my Nook so much! I took it with me everywhere. Calendar, notepad, music, photos, and of course BOOKS!

"Love" doesn't even come close to my feelings about this great device. When it arrived, it looked new..no scratches, dents or any sign that it had been used. So feel confident about buying a refurb. Set up was quick and easy. Not only is it easy to buy books from Barnes and Noble, but you also have the option of borrowing books from your Nook Friends. I also set up my public library account to borrow E books (it's also easy to learn how to get them on your Nook). Imagine being able to read at night while your loved one is asleep...you don't need to keep the light on because the screen is bright enough (you can also adjust the brightness). I can also load my Nook with pictures, movies, music, games AND it now plays Netflix! It does everything you would want a tablet to do, but it's easier to hold and it fits in a purse (I have a 10" Android tablet that I hardly use anymore because of the NC). And, unlike some of the competitor's tablets, the Nook Color has a micro sd slot so you're never limited by the amount of space on the device. Some people "hack" their Nooks but I haven't bothered because I haven't found it necessary. I am a gadget junky and this is one of my favorite things!

I purchased a Pre-owned Nook Color last September and have had no problems with it. I enjoy the ability to read magazines,books, look at pictures I have loaded into it...play games if I choose. For me it has been a worthwhile investment.

Got this for my wife, I thought we could share it, yeah right. She has not let it out of her hands since she figured out the basics! I am so impressed with what it can do I'm getting one for me soon. I thought the b7w version would be fine for me but then I saw you can watch netflix on the color. I'm hooked.

Got this for Christmas, updated to 1.4 rom and loaded up Netflix and Pandora! My little girl loves the read to me books {comes with one free} easy to use and it can be way more than an e-reader if you want it to...

I bought one for my wife for Christmas. The power supply was cracked upon arrival, but I called Customer Support on CHRISTMAS EVE and ordered a replacement with no problems! The support representatives were very helpful and courteous. So far her only complaint has been that she sometimes gets double and triple entries when typing. We don't have enough history yet to determine if that's a fluke or a problem with the unit.

I bought my "refurbished" Nook Color on the advice of a B&N store employee. I have absolutely no complaints except that I love reading it so much I'm way over my "book budget" :) I love it, it fits into my purse and goes with me everywhere. I also get a few magazines on my Nook-very convenient, the quality is as good as print and they are always with me. As a bonus,I don't have piles of paper magazines piling up at home. There has never been anything I wanted my Nook to do that it couldn't-I have no desire to upgrade to anything else.

I've had it now for about two months and I have never had any problems with it. I have gotten a case for it since I take it everywhere I go. I never mind that someone needs to go to the doctor now because I can read and the Wi-Fi is wonderful. This has to be one of the best buys I have ever made. I was a little worried about buying one that is pre-owned but it was just like new. I checked out lots of other devices and read everything I could on all the others too and I'm so glad this is what I got. Get this one, you won't regret it.

I love my nook and think it is one of the best things I have purchased, but if you want movies its worth the extra money to step up to the tablet. I would still buy the nook tablet, but if you are a reader/gamer like me you will not be disappointed in this unit. For the money, it is definately one of the best.

I got a certified nookcolor for Christmas and by the third day the charger wouldn't work on the nook and when i did get it to work it didn't charge the nook.

My 7 year old daughter LOVES to read so for christmas she got a nook color. She is able to use it easily and loves it she has so many books on her nook now thanks to all the gift cards relatives got her for christmas. I use it for myself too and have been happy about it. Only problem we had was the original charger was broken when I bought it and I just wrapped it right when I got it since it arrived right before christmas. So my daughter had to wait until a new charger was delivered before she could use her nook because we couldn't get it to charge with any other charger we had even though they all fit the nook. But as soon as I contacted Barnes and Nobles they sent out another charger right away and we had it really quickly

LOVE it! Would never guess it's refurb, it arrived in brand new condition, and functions flawlessly. I just purchased another, because my kids keep stealing mine!
