Color Field Cover in Vivid Pink

Not recommended

I got this cover and less than a week after having my nook inside it the inside's white lining turned splotchy black. I can't explain it. Also the edges are kind of sharp and it's awkward to read from the nook while it is in the case. It's because the side that the nook is in is so much heavier and it weakens the binding. Long story short, I don't recommend it.

Very Pretty Cover

After much internal debate LOL I chose this cover for my new Nook Color. I think it is the nicest of the ones available now. It protects my eReader very well and the color is pretty. Also I like that it has the "NOOK" logo on the cover. The linen-like material is very attractive. My only complaint is that the corners are kind of hard and sharp but this is a minor concern. Otherwise I like this cover very much.

I kinda had no choice

I got my nook about a month after it came out and they had a small selection of cases and covers. I got this one because it was simple and cute. I've had it a couple months now. Keep it in my purse for the most part and my hands are generally clean lol. Its a mess. Black around the outer edges and just looks plain dirty on the inside, The material doesn't clean well so i cant get it to look nice again .I am currently looking for a new cover. My choice will probably leather since its easy to clean.

Its ok but wouldnt buy it again!

I purchased this with my nook color about a week ago and I am not totaly peased with it. It covers the nook and keeps is secure but the material it is made out of in the inside is hard to keep clean. I have black stains from the cleaning cloth and finger prints(I do clean my hands before I read on my nook) on the inside flap of cover. I would have liked a darker color or material that would not attract the stains. I was a previous nook wi fi owner and upgraded to the nook color and the covers they had for the nook wi fi were much better, please Barns & Noble get some better covers for the nook color!

Every Nook Needs Protection!

I purchased this cover when I bought my Nook Color. I figured that the Nook was expensive enough that I really wanted good protection for it. Of all the covers available for my Nook, this one is the nicest. It looks like some kind of linen fabric, but it's not. Whatever it's made of has survived my two young granddaughters and myself. (with supervision of the young ones, of course.) It is durable, looks good, and keeps my Nook protected whether at home or on the playground. And such a great girly color! Great Product.

Love it!

I have had this cover for almost a year now and it still looks great even with my 4 year old daughter using my Nook Color (and my 22 month old son sometimes getting a hold of it). The white inside lining has not gotten dingy at all. When reading I simply fold the front cover all the way back and it makes it easy to hold the Nook. There isn't a latch to hold the case closed, but I do not find that a problem even when stashing my Nook in my purse. I love the bright pink cloth cover which reminds me of a hardback book minus the paper sleeve over it. Overall I have been very satisfied with this cover.

Do not recommend

Looks great in the package but is completely impractical. It is very cute and it does keep your Nook secured, however it is impossible to keep clean. The inside is a white leather and will be dirty within the week and will not clean well. It shows every speck of dirt and finger print(and yes i wash my hands before using). It also is a bit big and uncomfortable to hold while reading. Also no clasp to keep it closed so the binding goes bad right away. Don't waste your money on this one.

Great color!

I have been using this cover for my Nook Color for about a month. It's probably not the best cover out there, but it serves it's purpose. I would say that it's best for sitting around the house, but you'll probably want something more substantial if you plan to travel with it a lot. I have thrown mine in my purse a few times, but I can see it being a problem if you expect it to take a lot of abuse. The canvas material is nice because it feels like you're holding a real book and the hot pink color is beautiful!

Great case

I'm not sure why others are complaining about this case. I have had it for over a year...inside looks the same as when I purchased it. I use my Nook color every single day and I have not had any problems (I never take it out off the case). I was actually on looking for a new case just for something different but I can't bring myself to buy another one in fear that it wouldn't be as nice as this one.

Great, if you don't spill on it

I loved this case. It protected my Nook and was a cute color. I also loved the pocket inside where I kept a cleaning cloth for the screen. Until yesterday, everything was fine. I set it down on my kitchen table, which was apparently wet, and now it has splotches on it that won't come out. I knew if it got dirty it couldn't be cleaned, but I was hoping it'd never happen to me. Oh well. It was worth it for how long it did stay clean, but there are many better cases out there.

Pink Lady

I guess I have gone crazy with all these gorgeous covers but this pink is my favorite. I also bought the matching pink strap. Forget about the sharp corners as one review mentioned, the cover is gorgeous. If you are a princess, you need this!

not recommended

I got this because of price and wanted to protect my Nook.I carry it in my bag and need a large rubber band to keep it close so the Nook front is protected. It is very pretty and that is the only plus

It's meh

The inside, like other reviewers is dingy, but not really horrible. I don't know about anyone else but the corners on mine are pretty beat, and I dribbled yogurt on the cover one morning...and it's impossible to get the stain out.

The color is pretty though!

Eh.

When i got my nook, my parents got me this case so we could tell the difference between mine and my moms nook. After about two days, the front and back started getting all gross looking and there is now no way to get it out. And the binding is very weak, so now when im tryingnto read, the bindings all floppy. The pluses are that it holds the nook well inside and its a pretty pink before it turns gross. I suggest getting a different cover.
