If you do not know the word then how can you possibly understand the full intent of the sentence you have just read? As the pocket knife helps one reach the inaccessible small object so too will a compact dictionary aid the reader when he does not understand. I have enjoyed this device from the moment I began using it. So quickly have I been able to return to my reading after hitting a roadblock that I would be lost without this dictionary. It should not replace your larger binding but it's assistance is a fine plus.

I find it easier to use with books, not handheld devices!
