Cross makes good quality writing instruments and is always a safe bet. I'd give this set as a gift any time.

Cross pens and pencils are the best on the market. They are great for any professional to have. I brought them for an attorney I work for and they are fantastic!

This is a nice set IF you don't mind a 0.7 mechanical pencil. Personally, I can't use anything bigger than 0.5 (which the item description specifies).
