sent to my father for father's day - expedited shipping took 1 week so everything sat in warehouses and melted. the few items that were not melted, my father said looked and tasted "old." Very disappointing.

I sent the desert tray to my parents for mother's day based on the fact that is isn't going to be one more thing that gets placed on a shelf or stuffed in a closet. I looked at the fruit trays but that was way too much for my parents to eat before I feared the fruit would start getting a little too old. The desert tray contains items that are wrapped and will keep for whenever they feel the desire to have something sweet. What I did not expect was that when I called they had already opened a slew of the packages and were like kids at Easter with their basket of candy. While talking to me on the phone Mom paused and told dad not to open anther package until they ate what they already had open. In other words, they loved the treats and were enthusiastically having a good time opening and tasting each one.
