    I Also Recommend:

Playing this game is like living through the movie Event Horizon. That's a very good thing. Amazingly stylized, gothic and creepy as hell. After seriously playing for a few hours you're actually agitated and startle easily even after you return to 'real life'. Graphics are amazing, gameplay is great, story makes you want more and presentation is top notch. Menus and interfaces are one of the best parts. Any fan of sci-fi, real fans anyway, will love this game. Off the beaten path of anything I've seen and definitly a unique and gratifying experience. Best thing I've seen in the sci-fi genre since 'Escape from Butcher Bay'. 10/10!

The best horror game on the market.

Simply put, if you want a stand up horror game, Dead Space is your answer. I'll be the first to say that it isn't exactly a survival horror experience. True, the main character, Issac Clarke, is quite capable from the onset of the game. What Dead Space offer, however, is a truly thrilling experience. Imagine Aliens as opposed to Alien. There are moments where you will be creeped out, but the overbearing sense of dread never seems to hit you.

    Scary fun

Best played in the dark with surround sound. Unique in all the right ways, the active holograghic menu makes sure you learn to clear a room before you check inventory. Great story and great graphics mean a great game. If you can check the prequel-prequel-graphic novel (takes place on the planet) to buy or the animatic comic (graphic novel with minor motion with voice to the characters) for free download off of PSN. I can't comment on the prequel cartoon (takes place on ishamura after the comic, but before the game) for I never saw it.
