    I used to own a Flip Mino but!

    I used to own a Flip Mino and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. However, after the 1 year guarantee had expired, the lithium battery dried up rendering the Mino to be useless. I did contact the manufacturer to see if they could help as it is impossible for the layman to exchange the integrated battery. I got no help. Consequently, I shall not be buying a replacement Mino. The Flip model that has exchangeable batteries might be a better bet and it is cheaper. I have also heard that Kodak produces a similar product within the Mino's price range and as an added bonus, it is water proof so, for snorkelers, it can be used to take underwater videos.
