This is a beautiful globe at a decent price. The countries are in an array of colors, bright but not garish, which makes them easy to distinguish. The ocean has its features, too, such as the currents. The wood base adds more eye appeal. I replaced my old faded globe with out-of-date countries with this model, and am very pleased with it. Even with maps and atlases, a globe is good to have.

I did a lot of shopping around and this was by far the nicest globe I could find for the money spent. It was nicer than some at twice the price. Well made and spins freely with little effort. I would buy it again, and probably will when the grandkids are a little older (might not stand up to real little kids).

Good Globe but make sure it's secured. The base isn't strong enough to hold the globe. After getting it for the Holidays, I had to return it.

My son got this from Santa for Christmas. It's a great globe for the money. He's been very pleased with this. As he's only five (and quite interested in geography), it's taken quite a bit of use and still looks great.

I bought this globe for my father-in-law's 80th birthday and he just loves it. It's a perfect size globe (not too large, not too small) and very easy to read. As he watches the world news he looks up the country they are speaking of. I would highly recommend this globe!

This is a beautiful globe with easily dintinguishable country borders and nice raised relief mountains. However, the wood base is separated from the meridian with a piece of plastic. Ours broke after about a month and super glue was unable to hold it together.

This Globe is a nice size and makes a nice gift. The only problem with it is that the wooden base may not be heavy enough, and the Globe sometimes tips over easily when you are spinning it.

For a basic globe, it's not too bad, but it is not substantial by any means. The plastic stem that attaches the globe to the wood base breaks easily and once broken it's all over.

This globe is made of paper which is glued to a plastic ball.
All materials except the wood base are cheap plastic.
The glued paper falls apart at the seems.
I do not recommend this globe.

The size, shape, and color are the perfect match what I want. Good looking and size for putting on the desk or chests. I love it.

It is okay for what it is. Accurate and up to date. I was looking for a heavier one more suited for an executive office for a gift, but this was the best I could find locally.
