    Antique Map Italian Leather Printed Passport Holder Case

    This is a beautiful passport holder. Unfortunately the American passport WILL NOT fit into it. Not just the new, larger passport - the old one doesn't fit either. I bought two as gifts and had to return them. I was really disappointed.

    beautiful!

    The design of this passport holder is beautiful and the leather is buttery smooth. The only thing that prevents me from giving it 5 stars is that it is too small to fit the new smart-chip passports without bending them. It also is nearly impossible to remove the passport from the case once it's in. I wound up giving this as a gift to a friend with an old passport that has no chip.

    High quality, but...

    I had to keep taking my passport out of the case because the immigration agents had to scan the barcode, put stickers on the cover, etc. Quality case, yet it was more trouble than it was worth.

    Perfect gift for the travelers in your life!

    I purchased one of these originally for my sister who is a flight attendant, I liked it so much I kept it. Then I purchased two more as gifts for friends that love to travel. I get complimented on the cover everytime I travel. So I keep on getting them as farewell gifts. EVERYONE loves it because it's a unique and personable gift. The cover is strong and durable. It has an inside pocket where I carry my license and credit card. You CAN NOT go wrong with this gift, it is simply practical and stylish!

    Reality CHECK...!!!

    This item is being advertized and sold as LEATHER. It is not related to leather, or even to what they call artificial leather. It is surprising that an organization like B&N cannot perform a simple quality review!!! Chances are this is a cheap chinese import with a little card inside that states is was made in TUSCANY non-the-less...!!! What a crock!!! REAL leather has a very distinctive scent that stays with it for years, this one's smell is totally unrelated and rather unpleasant. If you look at it on the inside you will see the fibers of the burlap it is made of! Although it is too expensive for what it is, there is no way you could buy a passport wallet made out of leather, for 15 bucks! Is there a company in this country that has NOT been infiltrated by cheap chinese crap???

    This is an extraordinary passport holder – very high quali

    This is an extraordinary passport holder – very high quality, soft leather. In fact, it feels like the patina leather used in Louis Vuitton products that darken over time with use. You do have to kind of poke the inside tabs so that the passport can fit right in. The antique print definitely adds an elegant touch. Note: this will not fit the newer electronic US passports.

    I thought the same thing about the fit when i got home with mine

    I thought the same thing about the fit when i got home with mine. I was starting to get annoyed until i realized that you needed to stretch it out...if you take a credit card or something of similar size and run it along the edges , it will stretch out and now my passport slides in easily. I don't have the passport with the chip in it but will find out if it fits when i give one of these to my friend. :)

    Fantastic passport cover

    This cover is amazing. The leather is soft and the workmanship top quality. It smells as good as it looks. The fit is perfect for a U.S. passport. The leather on the inside is slightly stuck together due to the sewing process. Simply run your finger around the inside by the stitching to open it and the passport fits perfectly. It's sturdy and durable. You'll be pleased you bought it.

    Beautiful...but...

    When I first saw this passport case I fell in love of this... I pay very happy the price. Is almost perfect, with an ancient map in the front, hand made, is made in leather, smell good, everything. However this not only fits small (in fact is impossible to put your passport inside without broken it) in the USA passport, FIT SMALL TO ALL THE PASSPORT IN THE UNIVERSE!. Try to make it a little more big, and I will pay for that 20 dollars!.

    Great, stylish way to carry passport!

    I bought this passport cover for a good friend who is an avid traveler! She absolutely LOVES it! It is sturdy and stylish. It is a great way to carry your passport in style. It is also useful for just carrying other travel necessities around like credit card, loose cash, tickets, and other things. I liked it so much for my friend I ordered myself one! Love it!

    Absolutely Magnificent

    This is absolutely wonderful. I myself don't use it for passports. I use it to hold my money and metrocard and it's so easy to carry. I just adore products like this.

    So beautiful!

    This passport case is something that had been on my wish list for a long time and I finally bought it! It looks so beautiful, and the leather is very smooth. The detail is amazing and very pretty. It comes with a small card certifying that it was handmade in Italy. It looks like it cost much more than $15-$20! I can't wait to show it off!
