    Where are the Refills?

    I purchased this journal for my husband, partly because it was refillable. However, B&N does not sell the refills. The only place to get them is a place in Rome, Italy, and I can't read their website in Italian!

    best journal around!

    i'm a student, and i bought this journal before i went on a trip with my professor. we were in the jungles of belize doing archaeological digs for 5 months. this thing lasted through being dropped, grinding against limestone, being sat on, pouring rain, and bring thrown in a bag. the pages and leather held up great. the only downside is the binding - not super fantastic.

    Wonderful, elegant, totally functional journal!

    It fits in my purse for carrying to the local B&N to write in, looks great, lays almost flat, and has paper that receives fountain pen ink and writing wonderfully without showing through to the backside of the sheet (I do have quite fine writing). I've bought a second one, in fact.

    Amazing!

    I absolutely LOVE it! Great quality and easy to carry around. Perfect for the poet. It even smells amazing. Best journal I've ever had.

    Just got this in the mail

    It's nice 6" 5/8 by 5 inches, not really the color, of the picture, does have lined paper, is not refillable, someone comment is wrong. smells amazing. I'll see if its a good one, thought it would be bigger. I don't think they ever mentioned the size or maybe I am wrong.

    No refills!!

    I got this for my husband... He loooved it, but the journal paper doesn't come out.. The leather is great quality, and would only get better with age.. It's not refillable, so you can't use it forever. That's the only problem. He could use this forever if it were refillable. If you don't care about that, this is the journal for you. It's great.

    I purchased it at LA. And I love this journal so much. It looks classical and natural which makes my mood good everytime I open it. The only thing that I don't like is the quality of the paper. Well, the quality is very good. I mean, I love to use fountain pens, but ink blends on this paper. That's why I give it 4 stars.

    I've had this journal for years. I use it as my travel journal;

    I've had this journal for years. I use it as my travel journal; writing
    in it daily to remember where we went, what we did, and what we saw.
    It's a great size for slipping into your purse or carry on. The leather
    cover is very sturdy, protects your pages, and it smells WONDERFUL!

    Perfect Journal

    I have been using journals most of my life, I have had numerous good ones and bad ones. This Journal is simple and sturdy, it's size make it ideal for traveling. It is so functional and well crafted I have to say it is my best journal. It is perfect.
