I first saw this journal back in October. My husband had mentioned many times that he wanted to write again, and I wanted to find the perfect gift that would inspire him to do so. When I saw this journal, I knew it was for him! It looked like it had come from a different century! I knew he had to have it!
I loved the journal so much that I even bought one for myself!
Not only is this a aesthetically pleasing journal, but it's also incredibly sturdy and has quite a bit of pages, and I'm sure that it'll last for quite a long time.
I definitely recommend this journal!

The picture does not quite do this journal justice. To me, it is more impressive in person. It is a small compact journal, in terms of its size, but it's number of pages make it rather dense - it's almost 2 inches thick. The pages are thick and unlined, so that if you enjoy doing calligraphy with nib pens and mixed inks, then it will hold your ink well without bleeding through. The leather is also soft and supple. The book has a well made feel to it, but it also feels like an old favorite as well. I was immensely pleased with this purchase.

First thoughts when I bought this journal resulted in unsure feelings. However, after it arrived in the mail, I feel madly in love. I did not expect it to be large, and size wise it wasn't, BUT the thickness got me. The journal had a good amount of paper, something I wanted, and it holds well to calligraphy, another plus. In all I love my Brown Rosone, and I'm still using it. I am very happy with this product and believe it deserved every penny spent for it. Trust me, you'd love it.

Even if you have nothing to write about you wish you had because the journal itself. Even though it's really think (which I find to be really good for anyone that loves to write or express themselfs), the size is rather small making it very practical. Even if the price is a bit high, it is worth it every penny. I got it thanks to the giftcard that I got for my birthday, and I think that it's a perfect present for any occation.

I bought my journal to keep track of my journey in life, especially now that I am retired. The journal is the perfect size (5x7), but it also has hundreds of pages to write in. It's easy to carry with me,too.I hope to pass it down to my granddaughter with alot of information that will help her with her journey!

This journal is not only perfect for writing in, I found it very useful in drawing in also. With the beautiful, yet simple cover, it added maturity to what I was writing and drawing.

I wanted a nice fat leather journal but they were soooo expensive on other websites. I wanted to make sure this one had enough pages for a year and the website and the packaging doesn't specify so I counted and it has 350 leaves which makes 700 pages! It's small in size (only 5X7), but I think it will fill up nicely. The binding feels sturdy. It has 22 sewn chapters glued onto the fabric binding.

I recieved this gorgeous journal from my husband for our 1 month of being newlyweds! I absolutly adore this journal and carry it with me where ever I go. It's compact and durable for trawling the world. I would recommend this to anyone serious about penning their thoughts or sketches.

Recently my teenaged granddaughter asked for a special journal, one that she would use to record quotations, poems, sayings - words that she wanted to preserve and reflect upon. After searching about we found this lovely jounal, bound by brown leather with a beautifully decorated front cover, all of which makes it a book to cherish. Moreover, it's small format makes it the perfect place to store snippets of wisdom worth saving.

This journal was exactly what I was looking for. I had been looking for a journal with no lines and an attractive look to it, but found nothing for almost six months. Then I saw this one at Barnes and Noble! The paper is very nice and it is bound very nicely. It will surely take a long time to fill it with writing so it is worth the money. It is hard to write in for long times though because of the number of pages but other than that it is incredible.

Mine is darker than the one in picture - unfortunately the picture does not do this journal justice. I get compliments, and genuine amazement at the craftmanship, and style of the book by others. It really does have an older design, but looks new, and flawless.
The medallion on front is a gorgeous detail. At first I was reluctant to buy it, because I wanted a refillable one, but I'm certain I made the best decision is getting this one. The numerous blank pages are good for being creative with your journal. If you are looking for a memorable gift, get this. If you're looking for a journal that'll turn heads, get this. If you're looking for a journal that will last you a long time, get this.

This was a birthday present from my husband. The journal is perfect for writing your thoughts or doodling your feelings. Lots of pages to last a long time and high quality for the price range. I would certainly recommend!

I only ordered this two days ago and even though I haven't received it in the mail yet, I wanted this one for more than one purpose.
I have used pocket journals such as the moleskine and many other kinds of pocket journals before but since they are the pocket kind, you kind of see where they can get a little creased and curled when sat on. Course, I'm probably not the only one whose done that before.
Being the writer that I am, I will be using this new Rosone journal for my literature ideas and not sit on it.
This is exactly the kind of journal I want for literature and art ideas than any kind of pocket journal or any kind of journal for that matter.
Brown leather I find much more appealing than black, green, navy or any other color journal there is. Brown leather is so much more casual and modern for anyone than black can ever be. This is more than just another journal; it's more of an accessory like a purse to women.
This is a journal that speaks volumes about the person who uses it.
It's a big bang buck of a big book for anyone with big ideas.
If you've got big ideas, then this journal is exactly your style and sense of self.

I bought this book to write letters to my fiance. I'll be giving this to him on the day of our wedding, filled with letters, lyrics, and pictures. i have been searching FOREVER for the perfect book - i wanted something that looked antique but was still crisp and new enough for it to get old with us. this book is gorgeous!! i was worried it wouldn't be thick enough - it's a roughly 2 or 3 inches thick. LOTS AND LOTS of blank pages. the paper is thick and ink does not bleed through. the medallion is heavy and rustic looking. the leather covering it is smooth and was shipped in perfect condition. the details are amazing - even the bookmark is made of leather. i am genuinely happy with my choice!

This chubby little book is perfect for what I wanted. My only wish is that a big one like this could be found.
