    Awesome

    I've been searching for awhile for a journal that came with a lock, and not just some sort of cheap strap and what not, the lock definitly makes it more personal and eassier to keep away from the nosey people that you bump into in life. I was so excited to find this here! I just recieved it today and was quite happy, I like how the lock is positioned on the side, and also how there is this sort of extra layer that lies behind the lock, lining the side of the book, so people can't pry the pages apart and take a peek at the writing like so many other journals allow..which is bad. I love the art and the quotes and feel rather safe putting all of my thoughts down. Actually the person i'm in a relationship with is quite curious to read my thoughts as well, I think it's because she knows she'll be mentioned, and who wouldn't love reading sinful delights about themselves in a journal! After all it's a place where you usually are able to put down what you can't say out loud! If anyone is in need of a secure journal, I would definitly recomend this one.

    Ok... but nothing great.

    When I first saw this baby online, I fell in love! When it arrived, lets just say I was in the 'rebound' phase. The paper quality is awesome but the quotes might or might NOT work for you. The artwork was a little too cluttered for me (after you scrutinize it). All in all, I found this journal to be a little overwhelming for everyday writing.

    Questions

    I haven't bought this journal because I have a few questions about it, if someone doesn't mind awnsering them that would be great.

    O.k. My first question is how good does the lock work, does it get jammed or anything like that?

    Does the lock work for the key that goes with it and that key only?
    Because I have 7 younger sisters and one of them wants this same journal ,so if she gets one, will her key fit in her journal and mine as well?

    And now my last question does the journal have lines to write in.
    I don't like the kind that are just blank pages.

    Well That's it.

    A WRITER'S DREAM

    i just got this journal last week, and i have'nt let it out of my sight. I'm always writing in it. I love the quotes in it, and anyone that gets inspiration form other people and what they say this is perfect for you. PERFECT FOR POETS

    Very cool cover, but misleading.

    In no way is this a bad journal. it locks and has a nice key as well. also, the cover looks very cool. But i bought this for my son in-store, and when i tore off the plastic, the inside was filled with feminine quotes and pictures of fairies. In no way is this bad, in fact it would be a fantastic journal for most girls (excluding the fact that there are about 10 introduction pages for the company). But boys, beware!

    Lock and Key

    It seems fine i just got it in the mail and opened it up and i noticed there was no Key just curious to see if it came with one? Please say yes if there was and no if there wasnt on review please!! i am hoping i didnt get ripped off on the key

    A beautiful journal, to be sure, but...

    My only major issue is the serious lock malfunction, in that the front and back covers are misaligned so much that it simply cannot lock without extensive fumbling and frustration. I have to spend 5-10 minutes to just get it to latch correctly. That is the one thing I am *very* unhappy about.

    How many pages does this journal have? I am looking for a journal for scrapbooking, yet I am not entirely sure what to use for scrapbooking since it has only recently intrigued me. Thanks!

    Beautiful Sensual and Down Right Gorgeous!

    i absolutely adore this journal! its beautiful and gorgeous and just plain pretty! the quotes in it make you think alot about your partner or lost loves. its just perfect for me to write down all my fantasies and dreams.

    Beautiful journal inside and out. Nice design outside, romantic/seductive poetry inside. That was a bonus. The main reason I bought my first one was because of the lock that's included with the journal. I'm up to my 4th journal now, and I bought the 1st one only several months ago. So, I guess I write alot. Just a suggestion though, how about several more different designs aimed @ adults. Most of the locked journals have kiddie designs.

    Addicting

    This journal was the best journal I have ever had and i must say that i have had alot of journals. It's beautiful inside and out with alot of inspireing quotes about love and lus if you are stuck on what to say. I would buy it if I were you. When i was done with it I gave it to someone very special. They loved it and I am considering buying this journal again.(cause they won't give it back..its that good!)

    For the young poet or artist

    I have been looking for a journal for quite a long time and I have wanted one where it had a lock and key so I could keep my thoughts my own. Besides you don't want just anyone reading off you personal thoughts. One day I had gone into the store and found this journal. I had fallen in love with it and the quality is outstanding. Inside there are very beautiful quotes and you can cherish it for a lifetime. One day I will plan on reading about my past and try to look for a journal just like it.

    lost journal found

    so i had this journal when i was like 15 and at some point lost it and forgot about it, and today went looking online for a new journal and when i saw it i was ecstatic because it was the best journal i ever owned! anyone who has a very sensual side or is looking to be more sensual should defenitly purchase this!

    Romantic poetry

    Ive had this journal for a while...when i first saw it it inspired to to write in it....its like no other journal...its beautiful...and classic...you will find no other like this one....i recomend this to every poet...

    Love it

    A few weeks ago I purchased this journal and I have been inspired by many of the quotes. What I love the most is the lock. My written thoughts are kept personal and it appears to be a book among my books on the bookshelf.
