Elevation Slate Gray Lapdesk with LED Light and Adjustable Base

Very good design, very useful product.

I am a student of an online university and I don't really have a desk area to work at. This lapdesk is great, it makes reading my textbooks a lot easier. The light is very bright and handy because it is so adjustable. I love that the height is adjustable too. I used to have to stack pillows with my old lapdesk to get it at a comfortable height.

Not so great

If you have a laptop with an extended battery, the adjustable base does not work well and a larger laptop does not fit on the base with the position of the built in lamp.

Soft, large workspace with reasonbly bright work light.

I have found that this lapdesk is a very stable place to work and read books with. I do wish that the LED light was a bit lighter, but the various LED bulbs are installed to provide diffused lighting for lighting the whole area, instead of a direct lighting structure used in most LED book lights.

It was easy to work with, and the LED's do not bleed batteries too quickly in my experience. It is also extremely helpful to use with my laptop, and the LED lamp does a great job illuminating the keyboard space while not putting interfering lights on my screen.

I am disappointed with the lapdesk for three reasons. One, if the lights burn out, they are not replaceable. One of the main reasons I purchased this lapdesk was for the light capability. Secondly the light is not
as bright as I had hoped and does not cover quite enough area, which wouldn't be much of a problem except that (number 3)the arm does not hold some positions well, especially when propped at an angle.

On the pro side - the light is a clear white led light which makes things
look very clear. The way the pads work to set the desk in different positions work pretty well.

Like it :)

I bought this item for my son who is heading off to college, he is using it a bit now. The drawback is the light. It requires a specific bulb and cannot be replaced. Bummer!! This is not the best move--
Other than that- I think it was a good choice and that he will get some good use out of it. I may however think of a different choice for myself- due to the light bulb issue. This was the main reason I purchased it, and it was not that inexpensive.

Great help for work in bed

I bought this desk for my boyfriend as a present when he won a graphic design award. He is totally hooked on it and brings it back and forth between our houses. It has been a great help for quality time when one of us needs to work while the other wants to lounge in bed. The light is small but illuminates papers well. Also, the bendy stand is very nice because you can push the laptop out of the way or tuck it down when it's not in use. The wrist pad is soft and comfortable and great for wrist support when typing on the laptop. Also, the adjustable cushions in the back lock into place well and are soft and comfortable. I definitely recommend it!

Lap Desk Good For Many Uses

I have had my lap desk for many years and highly recommend this particular one because of the attached light. It is great for reading, laptop computers, puzzles, writing and anything else that is appropriate for those needing a desk right at their finger tips. I have used it while confind to bed, to using on vacations. It is easy to carry and easy for traveling. It's well made, strong light and dependable. Being disabled, it is the best answer for someone who can't sit at a desk and good for in bed reading, writing or many other uses that are too numerous to mention. And you will come up with your own uses. The cost is reasonable and worth the investment. I couldn't live with out mine.

Great Desk!

I just love my new desk. It is very comfortable in my lap, (laptop bottom?) It's also great for reading in bed; the light is very bright! The multiposition hight adjustment is teriffic also. Just the BEST!

Great Lap desk

This Lap desk is great. I use it nearly everyday with my laptop. It is also great for night reading because the light gives off alot of light. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Lapdesk

I purchased this lapdesk for my daughter. What a great idea! It's perfect and it's so easy for her to use. She loves the fact that it's got the LED light and it's adjustable. I'm so glad I saw these at the Barnes&Noble store we visit regularly. The price was reasonable too, which goes a long way with my budgetary constraints.

Great purchase!

I really enjoy my Lapdesk! The bottom is soft and adjustable, and is comfortable on my legs. I like the light because I can use my laptop just before bed without having to get up and turn off lights. My kids use it for homework, too.

Very comfortable lighted desk

This lapdesk is ideal for those of us who like to work from a laptop. The LED light illuminates the keyboard enough to reduce eye strain while not being too bright to disturb others.
The adjustable cushions on the bottom work well to elevate the desk to avoid undue strain on back and wrists.
I ordered this online originally. The one shipped had the zipper stiched to the inside lining. The store had one in stock and did a quick and painless exchange for me.

Highly recommended

It is a wonderful lapdesk. The cushion under the desk top is really thick. I have had knee replacement surgery so my legs are very sensitive but I can use this laptop with it hurting my legs. The only problem I have with it is my computer is a 17" which doesn't fit very well but for the comfort I mangage by putting the computer up on the wrist rest. This lapdesk is wonderful for reading a book. I will probably buy another one for my daughter.

After looking at other lap desks I bought this one. I needed something that I could use for reading at night in our living room, as our reading lamp reflects on our TV screen and is annoying to those trying to watch TV. It seemed like this desk would be the perfect solution to this problem, and it is. Its comfortable to have on my lap. The elevation height adjustment is a nice option. The light is perfect for reading, it doesn't glare on the books and it does not bother others in the room. So far battery life has not been a problem and I have had the light on for many hours at a sitting. It is well worth the money. I am very happy I bought this item!! I highly recommend it!!!

Love it!!

I bought this item a few weeks ago and use it every day! Makes using your laptop in your lap a whole lot easier. I also use for my Nook, the attached light makes it great to read in bed at night. Highly recommend!

Lapdesk with LED Light

I purchased one of these for my grandaughter for Christmas. My husband gave a very noticeable hint that he would like one too. He keeps it beside his chair and uses it every day. It's a big help with the LED light. I'd recommend it highly.
