    Love it if it weren't damaged

    I love Barnes and Noble, however, this item arrived damaged and is not usable as intended. It was damaged due to very poor packing. Had it been encased in bubble wrap, for example, the toggle to close it would not have ripped off (it cannot be fixed). It was packed with a number of other items (this was an expensive order) and shipped in a large box with only a few air pillows. The items shifted considerable and bumped up against each other, with no protection for those items that could be damaged by the larger heavier items. Unfortunately I was told there would be no refund as shipping would cost more than the item. I am so disappointed in the customer care with respect to this, especially because the damaged could have been avoided with proper packaging -- something over which I have no control. I guess this means no ordering online items from Barnes and Noble that can be damaged or that I can get from online sellers that will provide returns should items be damaged -- and that package items appropriately. Makes me sad. The one star rating was not for the product but for the customer service etc. The product, undamaged and usable would be a 5 star.
