The clock did not live up to its picture - much less impressive than it looked online. The clock came with a dead battery and when I replaced it, the clock hands jumped back and forth as if the gears were stripped. Barnes and Noble paid for the battery replacement with a credit to my account and when I returned it to a local BN store after giving up on it, they did not hesitate to refund the money without any comment other than sorry it didn't work. I will use Barnes and Noble's online orders again based on how they backed up their guarantee.

Overview
Combining classic design and utilitarian function, the Executive Desk Clock is a wonderful addition to any office, and it also makes a delightful accent for any room in the house. The rich, lustrous wood case holds a bronze-finished nautical deck watch, and the case shuts securely for easy transport -- on sea or on land.
